Hmm.... I actually think that "holding or tending to hold persistently to something, such as a point of view" and "assertive, bold, and energetic" are good qualities! Not THAT bad for a name meaning...could be a lot worse (like "dog," i guess.....)

Sounds like a great idea Dave. However, I don't want to get little Hercules/Mulan lifting weights too soon. It's bad enough that he/she will probably be able to kick my but when he's/she's older. I don't want to rush THAT inevitability.

I love the color, the room looks great. Are you sure the baby won't be wanting the weight bench though? Maybe you move that back in, and presto, you're on your way to a gym themed room! Let me know what you think of my idea, I have lots more I can share.

Hi,

The room is starting to look great. Love the color. It is amazing how fast time flies when you are pregnant. You think you have time, but before you know it, your time is insanely running out fast. But, this is the beginning of fun times. Enjoy it. I made my husband, Kevin :), paint early in my pregnancy. I couldn't wait! I had a Disney theme picked out by my third month. ha ha. I am going to keep track of your site. I am curious to see what you are going to have! Have a wonderful weekend.

OK so these are all the same fears every parent to be experiences. We all want to have a healthy baby and wonder how everything can possibly all work out perfectly. Well nature takes care of the vast majority of problems by weeding out the severely problematic conceptions . This usually results in an early miscarriage. The fact of the matter is that with ultrasound and good OB care there are not too many surprises at the time of delivery.
Your family does not have a major history of heart disease. Your grandparents are in their 80's and 90's and the one who died young may may have been caused by medication he was taking. When my dad died I too was a worrier and really had major questions about the future. At some point I wrote down a very simple sentence which has made sense to me until this day . "Don't waste your energy worrying about tomorrow as you will miss all the joy that today can bring".Carpe diem
